Coral Beauty (Large)

Although beautiful and iconic, the Coral Beauty is not a great candidate for Reef Aquariums. Although the name may be confusing, the Coral Beauty Angelfish is prone to nip at stony and soft corals. Coral Beauty's can make for decent utilitarian fish, although not as good as a tang or Fox Face, they will still mow down on algae in your system and could be considered a good grazer addition.

The Coral Beauty Angelfish is hermaphroditic, very difficult to breed in an aquarium, and has no distinguishable differences in color between male to female. The diet of the Coral Beauty Angelfish should consist of Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other high-quality items. 

Angelfish along with other fish, corals and invertebrates will also benefit greatly from Live Phytoplankton which is readily available to them in the wild.
